Geraldine Lissalde Bonnet

Géraldine Lissalde-Bonnet is Public Policy Manager for GS1 Global Office, in Brussels, and works with her local GS1 colleagues in 111 countries across the world on the harmonisation and implementation of GS1 standards in the healthcare industry. She is managing the GS1 Healthcare Public Policy Work Team which has the mission to provide strategic leadership in the conduct and interaction with global public policy makers to move towards harmonization of healthcare product identification requirements in alignment with GS1 Global Standards.

Composing this Work Team are the diverse stakeholders in the healthcare supply chain including pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, wholesalers/distributors, group purchasing organisations, hospitals, pharmacies, logistic providers, governmental and regulatory bodies and associations. Their overall objective is to enhance patient safety and supply chain efficiencies worldwide through standards for AIDC (Automatic Identification and Data Capture), global data synchronisation and traceability.
